I ended up getting the Titan AAA (125 lumen) because I really do like surefire beam pattern - and color temperature are decent. I also read somewhere at the time, the battery on this light only has a 1-year warranty, and is non-user replaceable. It produces a wide MaxVision beam with a maximum range of 66 meters, and has an onboard rechargeable li-ion battery, and a mini-USB port to charge the battery. I didn't like that the light was so expensive and there was no back-up option - but I never felt cheated by the tube because it was so darn cheap. The Sidekick is a triple-output light, with settings for 5, 60, and 300 lumens.
But, I hadn't taken into account all if the people I impresses with its 300 lumens at work, so after around 20 minutes in the maze it was already considerably dimmer. I figured I would be fine bringing only the Sidekick with me. The turning point for it was a few days before Halloween last year, a group of my friends and I went to a corn maze on a whim after a movie. I returned the sidekick mainly because it was too bulky. My line of keychain lights over the past few years have been the ASP Sapphire (1 year), Nitecore Tube (1 year), Surefire Sidekick (3 days), Surefire Titan AAA (1 year).
